Actor Ranveer Singh praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his efforts in revitalizing public infrastructure and developing Varanasi, one of India's oldest pilgrimage sites. Ranveer, along with Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon, attended a fashion show organized by designer Manish Malhotra in Varanasi. In an interview, Ranveer expressed his admiration for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's initiatives to support the weaver community in Varanasi. He remarked, "We deeply appreciate everything Prime Minister Narendra Modi has done to protect and promote the weaver community. He has absolutely changed the face of Kashi in the last 10 years."

Reflecting on his experience at Manish Malhotra's fashion show, themed 'Banarasi Saree- A tapestry of Indian culture and Craftsmen,' Ranveer shared, "The event was amazing. The experience of ramp-walking on the banks of River Ganga felt a million times better than walking at Mumbai's 5-star banquets. This event showcased the exquisite craftsmanship of our weaver community."

Encouraging the youth to value India's rich cultural heritage while embracing modern trends, Ranveer emphasized the importance of civic responsibility. He urged, "It is very important to take pride in the rich cultural heritage of our country. This month is very significant. Do not lose sight of your responsibility. You are the future of Bharat. Take cognizance of your responsibility...go out and vote."
